Right to object to data collection in special cases as well as to direct marketing (Article 21 GDPR)

When data are processed based on point e or point f of Article 6 (1) GDPR, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data, including profiling based on those provisions. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection based on Article 21(1) of the GDPR). Purposes of data processing by the responsible body and third parties

We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in the data protection declaration. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned. We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent,
  • processing is necessary to process a contract with you,
  • the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation,

the processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests and there is no reason to believe that you have an overwhelming interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

When you access our website a cookie automatically collects general information. That information (server log files) contain, for example, the type of your web browser, the operating system you use, the domain name of your internet service provider and other data. The information does not permit any conclusions to be drawn as to your person.

The information is needed for technical reasons to ensure that the contents of websites are delivered correctly and is obtained every time the internet is used. Such information is processed particularly for the following purposes:

If you contact us by e-mail, phone or fax, we store and process your enquiry, including all personal data (name, enquiry) it contains for processing your request. These data will not be passed on without your consent.

These data are processed on the basis of point b of Article 6(1) GDPR if your enquiry is in connection with the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases processing is based on your consent (point a of Article 6(1) GDPR)) and / or on our legitimate interests (point f of Article 6(1) GDPR) because we have a justified interest in the effective processing of all enquires addressed to us.

The data you send us with the contact form are retained by us until you require us to delete the data, withdraw your consent to store the data or the purpose for which the data were stored no longer exists (e.g., after complete processing your request). Statutory requirements – particularly statutory retention periods – are not affected.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so called “cookies“, i.e., text files stored in your computer which allow an analysis of the use of our website by you. Information the cookie generates about your use of this website by you is generally transmitted to a server in the United States of America and stored there. Because we have enabled the IP anonymization on our websites, your IP address is cut short by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states member of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the U.S.A. and abridged there only in exceptional cases. Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to display our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as Google Web Fonts ( Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default form. Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible – but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operator of corresponding libraries collect data. Embedded YouTube videos

We have embedded YouTube videos on some of our sites. The operator of the appropriate plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, U.S.A. When you visit a site with the YouTube plug-in, a link with YouTube servers is established. YouTube will be informed which sites you visit. When you have logged in your YouTube account, YouTube can establish a direct link between you and your surfing activities. You can prevent that by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about your behaviour as user. When you have disabled the saving of cookies for the Google-Ad program, you need not expect such cookies when you view YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal use information in other cookies. If you want to avoid that, you have to block the storage of cookies in the browser.
